What is it with people and being afraid of experimenting sexually?

I recently had a client that had been talking to me about how she wasn't sexually satisfied anymore. As she was explaining to me her sexual experiences with her current partner I started to realize that what she was telling me was all so...boring to say the least. There seemed to be no spontaneity or excitement when they had sex. No "thinking outside of the box" experiences. It seemed as though they had become stagnant within their sex life and didn't know what to do or how to get it back on track to sex city. After she was done detailing her current situation I simply asked if she had ever used any sex toys? She had but only by herself, never with her partner.

To say the least the aftermath of her trying something new with her partner resulted in her actually enjoying sex. She in fact ended up with exactly what she had wanted, an amazing fucking orgasm.

What were the odds? Trying something new worked out for her and new possibilities showed up in her life. You can start having amazing sexual experiences as well. You can step outside of the box and learn something new, be with new people or enhance what you have with your current partner, and experience sex like you never have before.

People get so caught up in the everyday that they forget to try something new. They forget that it's possible to actually enjoy their partner and themselves. Trying something new can be scary for sure but in the end the result is that you got to try something new and you aren't left wondering about the what if's, Even if the experience turned out to be not what you expected. You can choose to gain some positive lesson from the experience.

Sex can be an amazing part of any and all relationships. Intimacy, however you want to define it, is needed and wanted by all parties in that relationship. You just need to find what works for everyone.
